The Labour Force of Curaçao 2025: The Supply Side of the Labour Market

The labour market is a key indicator of the economic and social well-being of Curaçao. Understanding developments in employment, unemployment and labour force participation provides valuable insights into the availability of jobs, the utilization of human capital and the overall performance of the economy.

The Labour Force Survey (LFS), which is conducted annually by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Curaçao, was integrated into the Social Survey (Enkuesta Sosial) in 2025. The questions that are normally included in the Labour Force Survey were incorporated into the Labour theme of the 2025 Social Survey. The Social Survey was conducted between September and November 2025.
