Some Results
Business Cycle Index
The Business Cycle Index, based on the indicators of future confidence, perception of the investment climate, and sales development, reached 127 in 2024 — 13 points higher than in 2023.
Confidence in the economy
Entrepreneurs reported stability in economic confidence throughout 2024. The percentage of entrepreneurs indicating a decline in confidence decreased from 10 percent to 9 percent. The percentage of companies reporting improved confidence decreased slightly from 32 percent to 29 percent, while those reporting no change increased from 59 percent to 62 percent.
Business results
In 2024, 73 percent of companies reported achieving positive business results. This represents an increase of 4 percent compared to 2023 (69 percent) and 8 percent compared to 2022 (65 percent). Additionally, 27 percent of surveyed companies expect to report negative results, a decrease of 4 percent compared to 2023 (31 percent).
