Climate
Curaçao has a tropical savanna climate (Köppen classification: Aw), characterized by warm temperatures throughout the year and relatively low annual rainfall. Average temperatures range between 26°C and 31°C.
The island lies outside the main hurricane belt and is located in the Southern Caribbean Dry Zone. There is a distinct dry season from January to September and a short rainy season from October to December.
Annual rainfall averages between 550 and 650 mm, although this may vary per year. The constant northeast trade winds provide natural cooling.
